Ancora Statement Regarding Texas Attorney General Allegations

On April 28, 2026, the Texas Attorney General’s Office issued a press release announcing “civil investigative demands” related to multiple Commercial Driver License (CDL) training schools in
Texas and Lindenwood Education System dba Ancora was identified in this press release.

Ancora, strongly rejects any implication that its CDL programs certify unqualified drivers or disregard federal English-language requirements. As of 4 p.m. April 28, 2026, Ancora has not received any communication or Civil Investigative Demand from the Texas Attorney General’s Office and is not aware of any allegations or compliance concerns the State of Texas Attorney General’s Office may have that are specific to Ancora.

Ancora conducts business in Texas under assumed names including Ancora Training, Ancora Corporate Training, and South Texas Vocational Technical Institute (STVT).

All CDL training programs offered at STVT locations operate under active approval from the Texas Workforce Commission and are included within each campus’s accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). All Texas locations successfully completed ACCSC onsite evaluations in 2025.

Students enrolling in STVT CDL programs are required to provide a high school diploma or demonstrate the ability to benefit from training by completing an English-language assessment prior to beginning their program. All CDL instruction and skills testing provided by Ancora in Texas is conducted in English. Students are also informed and acknowledge prior to enrollment that federal regulations require CDL applicants to demonstrate sufficient English-language proficiency to qualify for licensure.

In addition, Ancora serves as the contracted CDL training provider for businesses and government agencies in Texas as well as six Texas community colleges. Several Ancora partnership locations in multiple states, including Texas, had zero findings of non-compliance when reviewed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Safety Investigators in December, 2025, as part of their nationwide review of CDL training programs. It is also important to clarify that CDLs are issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, not by training providers.

Ancora intends to cooperate with the Texas Attorney General’s Office. Ancora is confident in the quality, compliance, and integrity of our CDL training programs.
